Tariro Kandawasvika is an award-winning Fine Art & Fashion Photographer from Zimbabwe, currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Her work has been featured in international online galleries and exhibitions around the world, and her background in Architectural & Graphic Design allows her to draw inspiration from the natural world. Tariro's photography is characterized by her keen eye for the interplay of light, shadow, and color.
Whether capturing portraits, simple life forms or objects, as well as spaces, her goal is always to create images that inspire, engage, and evoke emotion. Her non-fictional photographic process focuses on empowering vulnerability, exploring longings, and documenting the journey to the present moment.
Throughout her career, Tariro has honed her craft through experimentation, study, and collaboration with other artists. She constantly seeks out new techniques and approaches to capture the world in innovative and exciting ways.
